Electronic waste as a key to Europe’s supply chain security

The demand for critical materials, such as rare earth metals, will triple by 2030. But the current supply is anything but secure. With the Critical Raw Materials Act, the EU is working on accelerating how such materials can be reclaimed from e-waste.
