1. Platform Description

About-Trash.com is an independent job advertising platform for the waste hauling industry. We provide a platform for employers to post job listings and for job seekers to discover and apply for those positions. About-Trash.com is not an employer, staffing agency, or employment intermediary.

2. Employer Responsibilities

By posting a job listing on About-Trash.com, employers agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information about the position, pay, and benefits.
  • Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, including but not limited to:
    • Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) laws — no discriminatory postings based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetic information.
    • Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) wage and hour requirements.
    • Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA) employment eligibility verification.
    • State-specific employment laws and wage disclosure requirements.
  • Not post listings that are fraudulent, misleading, or for illegal activities.
  • Handle all applicant data received through our platform in compliance with applicable privacy laws.

3. No Discriminatory Postings

Job listings must not contain language that discriminates against applicants based on race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, and gender identity), national origin, age (40 or older), disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.

4. Content Removal

About-Trash.com reserves the right to remove, modify, or refuse to publish any job listing at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to listings that violate these terms, contain discriminatory language, appear fraudulent, or do not accurately represent the position.

5. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this platform, whether as an employer or a job seeker.

6. Limitation of Liability

About-Trash.com is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for:

  • The accuracy, completeness, or legality of any job listing.
  • The outcome of any employment relationship resulting from use of this platform.
  • Any loss, damage, or injury arising from the use of this platform.
  • Employer compliance with employment laws.

7. CAN-SPAM Compliance

All email communications from About-Trash.com comply with the CAN-SPAM Act. Every marketing and notification email includes:

  • Accurate sender identification.
  • A clear unsubscribe mechanism.
  • Our physical business address.

Unsubscribe requests are honored within 10 business days.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code on About-Trash.com is the property of 74 Buffalo Inc. Job listing content is the property of the posting employer. By posting a listing, employers grant About-Trash.com a non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and promote the listing on our platform and social media channels.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or misuses the platform.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dodge County, Nebraska.
