Labrie Environmental Group Acquired by Hiab in $1.035B Deal

Hiab is making a major move into the North American waste and recycling market. The Finland-based provider of load-handling equipment announced on June 1 that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Canadian refuse collection vehicle manufacturer Labrie Environmental Group for $1.035 billion.
